Iconic brand King Addies’ pioneering selector, the living legend and *original One Drop selector*, Danny Dread is globally recognized and celebrated as *The Teacher*, who dominated the business in the late 70s right through the 80s on dancehalls most iconic sound systems. The global icon and Jamaican sound system selector, has influenced and had a prolific hand in bolstering worldwide awareness of some of reggae music’s greatest hits and talents like Barrington Levy – “Broadway”, “Under mi Sensi “Supa Cat – “Dondodda”, “Boops”, Nicodemus Yellowman – “ZunguZeng”, “I’m Getting Married In the Morning”. Danny Dread was also the first selector to play Bob Marley – “War” which was given to him directly from Mr Marley himself.
