Marcus Goffe
Mr. Marcus Goffe is an Attorney-at-Law and intellectual property law consultant.
Mr. Goffe’s experience spans fifteen years in several areas of law including intellectual property law, criminal law, human rights law, and entertainment and media law.
Mr. Goffe holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the University of the West Indies, a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary, University of London, and is currently in the final stages of completion of his Ph.D in law. Mr. Goffe also lectures at the University of Technology, Jamaica and the University of the West Indies, Mona.
He has been Manager of the Trade Marks, Designs and Geographical Indications Directorate at the Jamaica Intellectual Property Office (JIPO) since 2011.
